El Gran Salto

In ‘El gran salto’ we will discover the story of the Olympic champion in a two-part narrative. On the one hand, we will discover his past, with the different Olympic Games that Gervasio has won, which will take us back in time to Sydney, Athens and Beijing.

And on the other hand, the present, focusing on the days it will take him to eventually visit his mother, who has suffered a heart attack in hospital. A decisive event that will undoubtedly mark the athlete’s destiny and lead him to set himself a vital goal that will save him from himself.
Over the course of five episodes, we will see the duality between Deferr’s two vital moments: his most glorious and successful period, with his professional successes, and his worst personal and vital period, in which he was accompanied by the demons of self-destruction.
